Mohamed Zaman is a Committees Affairs Specialist at Gulf Petrochemicals & Chemicals Association (GPCA) in Dubai. In this role, he works closely with industry stakeholders on key issues related to the chemical industry. His responsibilities include coordinating the business activities of the five working committees of GPCA, as well as supporting the development of various research projects, reports, position papers, and conferences related to topics such as climate change, sustainability, UN SDGs, and trade protectionism.
Mohamed holds an MSc in Management from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School) and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from City, University of London. He has also worked as an IP Commercialization Associate, conducting market research analysis, and collaborating with academics and consultants to help commercialize their technologies.
Outside of work, Mohamed has volunteered as an academic support tutor at Into University, London, encouraging primary school students to pursue higher education. He has completed the McKinsey Forward Program at both the foundation and advanced levels.
