Marcus Meissner has more than 25 years working experience in different leading consulting and industry positions. He joined CAMELOT group in 2007, responsible for the Switzerland business and moved to Dubai in 2010 where he established the regional practice covering the Middle East, Africa & Asia.
Marcus has been providing advisory services for major multinational and regional clients in supply chain management topics within governments, logistics and process industries. Marcus has high expertise and experience in strategy development, industry diversification, market entry strategies, digital transformation and logistics infrastructure initiatives. In the past, he has worked on key projects for various companies such as SABIC, SATORP, Hoechst, Siemens, Roche, Lanxess, Petro Rabigh, DP World, Stolt, Agility, Kühne & Nagel and Bayer.
In Saudi Arabia, Camelot is working closely with government authorities such as Royal Commission of Jubail and Yanbu, MODON to setup multi-modal terminals in their industrial cities across the country. Additionally, Camelot is strongly involved in the implementation of Saudi’s vision 2030 and is contributing to several key initiatives of the National Transformation Program 2020 with focus on, special economic zones, supply chain, diversification and logistics. Marcus and his team are contributing as senior advisors of the government in the transformation of Economic cities and transportation nodes in the Kingdom.
Having had significant local market experience and knowledge, Marcus is recognized as a thought leader in the region and is providing advices to the top management and market influencers in both public and private sectors. Furthermore, Marcus is an advisory board member for Al Majdouie Logistics, a regional leader in logistics service provider.
