Ahmad Domyati was born in 1968 and has a total experience of 31 years. He spent the first 10 years of his career in various sales positions before shifting to procurement when he joined EQUATE Petrochemicals Co back in 1996. During his 21 years with EQUATE he was part of the procurement team that handled purchases during construction, commissioning and startup of EQUATE plant in 1997 and the greater EQUATE plant in 2008. In 2009, Ahmed was a core member of the procurement transformation project team that restructured the entire procurement function into a category based strategic sourcing organization with newly created work processes, procedures and Job role profiles.
In 2010 he was given the role of Expertise and Improvement Specialist with an assignment to develop, execute and lead the Procurement Improvement Program. In 2013 he was promoted to Senior Expertise and Improvement Specialist and in addition to his role he was appointed as the Acting Payable Audit Function leader. In 2015 he was assigned to lead design and implantation of SAP Ariba Cloud solution.
Currently, Ahmad is leading the Procurement stream as part of overall integration project (Project ONE) between EQUATE and its recently acquired company MEGlobal. In addition, he is leading design and implementation of Open Text vendor invoice management (VIM) solution.
